James has released his second single from the new album, “Crossover”, which stemmed from a line someone once said to him: he enjoyed the idea of taking it to represent a more nuanced approach to an often very black and white world we find ourselves in these days. The accompanying lyric video shows a narrative of a couple who might disagree about some things but ultimately decide to get away from the debate. The song ends with a Mark Knopfler inspired guitar solo to represent getting in a car and getting away.
